2020 was a year in which business had been turned on its head and departments and teams were isolated like never before. To mark the end of the year we conceived and delivered an event that celebrated stories of workplace adaptation, courage and resilience in way that was positive and joyful to mark the end of an unprecedented year.
Focussed on engaging our zoom-weary audience we ditched the ubiquitous use of green screen and chose to beam our broadcast from the historic Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne.

In close collaboration with LiveTiles CMO, company founders and events agency Phoenix we conceived Love Your Work as a brand act to celebrate the resilience and ingenuity of people in all sectors in 2020. The program was designed with guests who would inspire, inform and entertain with a stylistic mix of music festival and TedX conference
Rooting our event and promotional creative in an MTV aesthetic we produced video and static content that acted as north star for our event design. Working with venue techs and camera crews, we brought our vision to life through set dressing, lighting and camera blocking. For the live broadcast we created static and motion content that gave the event polish beyond our budget.
With comedian Claire Hooper anchoring the event our program was filled with a host of guests with engaging tales of transformation and resilience in 2020. Big wave surfer Mark Mathews’ allegorical “Life Beyond Fear” set the tone for our other notable speakers who included Nicole Byers the Editor in Chief of Women’s Weekly, investor Steve Baxter of Shark Tank fame, Liz McKenzie the Head of PR at Canva, and Microsoft’s Chief Storyteller, Steve Clayton.
Wrapping the show in fitting style, band members of Powderfinger, Jet and Spiderbait played an hour long set that celebrated Aussie ingenuity, resilience and creativity in the face of adversity
