Inspired by the news that Queen and Adam Lambert were headlining Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas, we dreamt up a fitting campaign to announce LiveTiles new company acquisitions. To tell our “better together” story we began promoting our own concert in Las Vegas headlined by HyperWiz Live: the ultimate IT-rock supergroup consisting of LiveTiles, Hyperfish and Wizdom executives. This wasn’t Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos doing Backstreet Boys covers, this was the real rock’n’roll deal!
To bring our followers and invitees along for the ride we turned the rock parody up to eleven with social video content, mock-bill boards, rock posters and band merch.
In a night of glam rock, cocktails and nerdy mosh pit action HyperWiz Live blew the doors off the Mandalay Bay. LiveTiles was already a powerhouse of Microsoft workplace technology but now was poised to be an epically, legendary super group.

With over 60,000 social interactions and an overflowing list of RSVP’s, this event went off. Our decision to inject this event with extra creativity delighted our attendees and entertained our followers.
The impact on the internal culture of three transforming companies was really positive. The unfolding rock-journey enabled our teams to “play along from home” with swag packs of merch sent to every staff member.
The Campaign
Our social campaign turned the rock parody up to 11 with social video content charting the tech supergroup’s rise to stardom, mock-bill boards, rock posters and band merch.
The Concert
The campaign crescendoed with a live concert in Las Vegas to an audience of 300 Microsoft execs and VIP partners.
